FREDERICK, Md. - Master Andrew Martin Burdette, infant son of Joseph C. and Tracey L. Benedick Burdette Jr. of Frederick, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was born Sunday, Feb. 24, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Besides his parents, Andrew is survived by a sister, Tara Nicole Burdette, at home; maternal grandparents, Diane Benedick of Hagerstown and Denny Benedick of McConnellsburg, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Pastor Joseph C. Burdette Sr. of Frederick and Sandy L. Burdette of Boonsboro; maternal great-grandfather, William Corwell of Philadelphia, Pa.; maternal great-grandmother, Lois Link of McConnellsburg; paternal great-grandmother, Frances Burdette of Frederick; paternal great-grandparents, Herbert and Emma Abrecht of Frederick; and paternal great-great-grandmother, Lillian Fogle of Woodsboro, Md.

He is also survived by an uncle, Tyler Benedick of Hagerstown; aunt and uncle, Emily and Rob Griffith; and cousins, Madison and Mackenzie Griffith, all of Hagerstown; specially devoted friends, Mark and Emily Smallwood of Frederick; as well as a number of great-aunts, great-uncles, counsins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, from Keeney and Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, with his grandfather, Pastor Joseph Burdette, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
