Memorial Christmas Ornaments

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but after losing Payton I had wanted a special Christmas ornament to hang each year on the tree in her memory. I could never find just the right one, so I made my own. I eventually ended up making hundreds for family and friends. I had them in a Christian store and had so many orders I had to pull them out.....they are hand painted by me and take some time, and when I went back to work and had Tayah I just didn't have the time, but if this is something anyone would be interested in let me know, I charged $12, but of course if this would be a part of Cherubs I would give part back. I will submit pictures of the ornaments if this is of some interest.....and I do still have young ones and a full time job, but I know I would be able to find the time to make these again

Those are amazing!!!! I had looked everywhere for memorial ornaments last year, and only found a couple. This year I plan on having our regular christmans tree, and a mini tree for Gabe with all his ornaments on it. I definitely would love one! I am emailing you now!

Leigh-I haven't celebrated christmas in 2 years b/c of the timing-Gabe was in the hospital Nov 18-Jan 12, so the holidays last year were really difficult and I pretty much ignored them. This year I want to celebrate them with Makayla, and I forget who suggested the little tree for Gabe, but I LOVED the idea and can't wait to do it. I want to make it a yearly thing so that Makayla and any future kids can decorate it for their angel brother and we can have something of him as we celebrate the holidays. I will definitely post pictures!

Those are beautiful!!! I had a couple handmade ornaments for Shannon but really want to change ti around every year. I have her First Christmas but I want to celebrate every Christmas with a special ornament!!

Those are beautiful! You could setup a firstgiving page in memory of Payton Rose and donate to CHERUBS through that, then if you have other fundraisers or family that want to donate to CHERUBS they can donate through that for the next year or more. Sorry, I'm back, we went on a quick get away with the kids before Kenton get's back to school, I will check out the firstgiving, and Kate I can put almost anything on the ornaments, I had several different verses and occasions while they were in the Christian Store, but had to cut down to just the memorial one so I could start to have them made in advance except for the personalized name.......just let me know :? I'm so glad so many find them so nice, these were a big part of my healing process right after I lost Payton, and to be able to share them with others who are grieving just made me feel so good.........
