CDH Awareness Bracelets - We need your votes!!

Due to enormous requests and all the hard work of Kate and Stephanie, we are going to offer CDH Awareness bracelets! We need your votes on which one you all like best. Voting deadline is Thursday. After your votes then we'll get a price (probably $3 to $4 each, depending which one we vote on) and then you will place your order with Steph and she'll be ordering a huge bulk order and mailing out the bracelets in time for the holidays. My vote goes for #3 because it shows the ribbon and white shows dirt sooner so people will quit wearing them sooner. Could we possibly run into an issue with the CDH Awareness trademark thing? Hate to make them then not be able sell them.

I can't decide!! I like #5 or #6. Is there a way to have the ribbon put on any of the other bracelets, besides just the white or black? I have the same concern as Lynne--where does the trademark thing come into play?

I like #1 - it stands out from other awareness bracelets people wear, most of which are single colours. The black one reminds me of a black arm band, bit sombre.

firefighters wear a black silicone bracelet for the "everyone goes home safe" campaign. it is to remind us of those who have died so we will go home safe. that is the first thing i thought of when i seen them. do you think it will show up on the regular rainbow band? not the rainbow swirl one.

i know from the one's we sell at school, the medium's are a good size, for adults and middle school aged children, .. hmmmm
i would think medium's would go best and large for larger wrists, but the small is super small, COLE's size.!

What's the latest with the sizes and cost?

We had the screenprinted bracelets priced and they are WAY to high.
We would have to charge $6.00 for each bracelet. Ordering a minimum of 200. It would take weeks to get them back.
We were going to get black ones--but feel the writing would not show up.

I went ahead and ordered bracelet number 4. I hope this does not upset anyone--it is a BEAUTIFUL bracelet and the cost of each bracelet will be $3.00. It has the colors of our Awareness Ribbon.
I am hoping that the order will be here in 10 days.

If you are interested in ordering bracelets - please PM me with your order.
I will then give you my address and you can send me payment.
As soon as I get them in - I will send them to you.
I ordered large sizes. If you like the bracelet and want different sizes - after the first of the year I will take orders and place another order.
I thought this would work out the best right now to make sure that there is still an interest with a different bracelet.

To be honest, I was disappointed too. I really liked #1 but was receptive to #3. They seemed more like "our" bracelet, with our ribbon on them. But I have to say.... Kate sent me a rainbow one and I LOVE it!!!!! It is beautiful and it does raise awareness and that's the goal, right? If we have to price them at $6 or $7 each, then no one will buy them and they won't be raising awareness in a box. Had we known they would be that expensive (we asked for estimates months ago, just got them), we wouldn't have set up the voting. It's my fault, I wanted everyone to have a say-so on "our awareness bracelet" as I am very much anti-dictating anything about CDH.... our kids, should be our choice. But with this, we don't have another choice - this time! Your votes DO count!!! And we will diligently be searching for a better company with better prices to create the bracelet that everyone voted for. It will take time to do this though! I know some of you are disappointed but let's stay positive and still order the rainbow ones and give them a shot, ok? :)

The rainbow swirl really are not that bad. The image does not do it justice, it looks a lot better when you have it.

Could you do me a favour and measure the bracelet? I know it's a bit silly, but I don't want to order one that is going to fall off my wrist all the time. I've measured my wrist, it's 15 cm, which is about 6 inches I think. So if you think that the one you've ordered is fine for me then I'll place my order. If not, I'll just have to wait till the new year.

The bracelet measures 21 cm--8 inches long.
I tried the bracelet on my 8 year old daughter (small wrists) and it fit her great.

Hello Lisa--
We tried to order number three--but for each bracelet it would cost $6-7.
We decided that it was way to much.
To screenprint a bracelet--there is a minimum order of 200 and the cost is crazy.

I ordered the rainbow swirl bracelet (colors of our awareness ribbon) with CDH Awareness on the front with two ribbons. On the back www.cdhsupport.org

They turned out very beautiful.

I am going to place an order today.

If you would like some--please let me know.

I LOVE my bracelets Steph, wondering if you got my money yet? I would love to order some more, lets go for 10.

I am hoping to have a bowling fundraiser, I dropped off a letter at the bowling lanes today to see if they would let me have it there. So if they are ok with it, I would love to have alot of bracelets for that. Would you be able to give me the website instead of having them send them to you and then you to me... Unless they wont ship to Canada, then I will have to go through you if that is ok.

If you go to the first page of this post, the bracelet that was ordered looks like #4. The pink/yellow/blue tyed dye colors with CDH Awareness and www.cdhsupport.org on them. They also have two awareness ribbons on them as well. Even though this bracelet did not win the votes, it was more price effective to go this way. I ordered some and the picture doesn't do it justice, they are very neat. My husband even wears his. Now, we just need to get some kid size ones! I could take a picture of one of mine if you want.

Steph -- did we get a measurement on the med & large sizes? I think I might wait until after Landon's party on the weekend and try to get some more family/friends to order...but I'm sure they will be asking about the sizes. Thanks!
