  1. Ethan's therapy

Haven't had a lot to update lately, but Ethan is doing really great. He started back to therapy and we hope he will be turning a corner soon. It is just such slow progress. He did taste of a bite of chocolate and without us asking, he said, "taste good." I was very impressed. Then last night he drank a few sips of his pediasure and said, "milk good, my milk." It was so great. We'll see how it goes but I was very excited.

  2. New words

Ethan is saying so many words. He is actually talking instead of babbling. His speech is not always clear but he is actually really talking now. His newest and favorite line is, "I win". He races his trucks around the house with his sister and even if she gets there first, he says, "I win". I always tell him, "yes you do." He put on his Daddy's shoes this past weekend and said, "I am Daddy." It's nice to hear him using full sentences even if they are ...

  3. New Year 2012

The new year has been off to a great start. Ethan and Christa were both sick the week before Christmas. They acted like they had the flu but their flu tests came out negative. We had a great Christmas except Santa brought both of them a power wheels and it rained Christmas Day. They begged to go out all day. They got to go out and ride Monday after Christmas. ...

  4. 12/11/11

We have had a great couple of weeks. We took Ethan and Christa to Disney On Ice last Saturday 12/3/11. They both loved it. Ethan was enthralled through the whole show and loved seeing Mickey Mouse. Yesterday we drove to McRae, GA (about 1 1/2 hours away..my Daddy and Mama grew up around there) and visited my Aunt and Uncle. We had a great time. Ethan fell and bent his glasses once again. Time for another visit to the Eyecare place to straighten them out. He is doing well. He has been ...

  5. Thanksgiving

Ethan is about to celebrate his 4th Thanksgiving. We are so thankful to have him here to share this special day with us. He won't be eating turkey and dressing this year, but that's ok. Maybe next year. He did taste some lemonade last night and liked it. Praying for all those who are grieving, homebound or in the hospital. Thanking God for family and friends. Wishing everyone a day full of Thanks.
