Ethan is doing very well. He has been playing a lot today. He didn't want to go to sleep without his water bottle Monday night. I think we had our first argument. He wanted to have it open while he went to sleep and I closed it. He got so mad. I set it by his bed, but he still carried on to have it open. He wanted his blanket over him but wouldn't lay down because he was scared I would take his water bottle away. Anyway, he finally lay down on his "pilpo" and held the water bottle ...

Ethan had a good week. He went to the GI doctor Monday and he was very pleased. There were no changes in his food schedule or anything. He weighed 38 pounds and was 37 inches tall. He went to the pulmonologist Tuesday and he said he looked and sounded great. He said to keep using the vest we were using and he is trying to get the insurance to cover it. The doctor said he thinks it's helping him. He got a refill on his Lasix and is using Allegra and Nexium.

Ethan has had a great week. He has a cold now but seems to be doing well. Just a runny, stuffy nose. Praying it doesn't go to his chest. He has a couple of doctor's appointments coming up in the next couple of weeks (pulmonologist and GI). I am curious to see what they weight him at. On our scales he weighs just about 40 pounds. Ethan will be 2 years and 9 months old tomorrow. I took off work and we took him and his sister Christa (5 years) to the GA Aquarium yesterday. They had a great time and were amazed at all the "fishhh". That's how Ethan says it. Christa loved the dolphins the best. We enjoyed it as well and loved seeing their amazement. Ethan and Christa went to the eye doctor today. Christa's eyes are just right. This was a different doctor and he wants to be more aggressive treating Ethan's strabismus. Ethan will need to wear a patch over his left eye (the better one) for two hours everyday. I thought, "that sounds easy". But he took it off every few minutes. I told him he was a pirate and taught him to say "arrr" or something like it and he enjoyed that. Ethan is dancing to "Bippity Boppity ...
