I got the tote bag and goodies this week. I didnt expect that at all. I was totally suprised. I knew that I hadn't ordered anything and was so overcome with emotion when I opened it up. We went yesterday for an ultrasound and to see the doctor. The ultrasound was actually interesting as it was the first time I could actually see the trail of bowel( a thin white line) that was from his chest to his diapghram. The doctor said that it was probably where the opening is. Everything is pretty much the same as we have already known, but I guess since we had the MRI they can see more of his lungs and see that his one lung is underdeveloped,they called it Hypoplasia. So, we weren't suprised ...

We had our MRI done a couple weeks ago, to get the final about if it is a LCDH or a CCAM.
They came back and said it is " consistent with a CDH and there is loop of bowel in his chest."
I haven't seen the pictures and havent read the report, we go tomorrow to meet with the doctor and for another ultrasound. We were suprised to hear the news especially after we had another high risk say that he didn't feel it was CDH. We were hopeful and believing that perhaps it wasnt, ...

We went yesterday for our ultrasound appointment. We had this one already scheduled as they were going to do the measurements, but the doctor wanted us to come in to be sure again. Aren't we glad we did. Or course the doctor on Thursday was not there and we had a different technician this time, but we have seen them before so we did know them.
