Thanks for all the advice and love and support. Feels amazing when we dont now each other, yet many people send us best wishes. I thank every sngle one of you. Maybe one day we will all meet and share our wonderful stories.

Sounds like you have a strong boy. Stay strong and keep the attitude of finishing school whenever you are able too. Sending love and strength to all of you.

(((HUGS)))...one day at a time and always focus on the positive. Ricky is here and still fighting! I am so sorry that he in having trouble with his trach. I imagine the hospital social workers have started talking with you and what happens when you bring him home. He will qualify for in home nursing care that will help you, you just have to interview and find a nursing company you feel comfortable with. The hospital social workers should be able to help direct you. They can also help you with anything you can think of, just ask.

Ricky is blessed to have a mom who is still standing by his side and fighting with him, even through the darkest moments. One day at a time. We are always here for you if you need to talk or vent. (((HUGS)))

Are you at a hospital in TX then? We do have a hospital angel at Texas Children's and we do have a TX State Rep. Her name is Casey Carter and she can be reached at texas@cherubs-cdh.org or ccarter@cherubs-cdh.org.

Well thank you, i dont know much yet but thanks for the advice! (: I want to share my story so that the whole world knows about CDH and if i can do that by sharing my story i will do so with a smile.

Thanks, and yes i turned to this website because i didnt know how to cope with my son and his conditions. I wanted to join a website or a blog to share my sons story so now i am here. It feels as if i belong because we all have that one thing in common, our cdh babies! And as much you wanna know about me, i want to learn about you and Charley!
