    My name is Jennifer and I became a CHERUBS member I think it was 2005/2006. My son was diagnosed with CDH when is was 7 months old while on vacation in Southern California. After misdiagnosis as Bronchialitis (sp?) and after almost a week and half of treating him for that, he was finally diagnosed after a second Xray was taken as a CDH. There was nothing in his abdomen.   2. Holidays

    Well I am so happy the holidays are here. I think that this will take my mind off of everything and then when the holidays are over I will only have two months left. So holidays bring on the fun and take away the worry. Well I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a New Year.

  3. Mood Changes

    :roll: [color=red:04170ff491][/color:04170ff491]OK yesterday was really weird. I was fine most of the day. When I got home from running the streets, I sat at the computer and started looking for any news that I hadn,t read yet on cdh. I found this article that said that the lung on the opposite side of the hernia was the one they look at for survival measures. My problem is this: Drakes lung on the same side as his hernia is 1.6 and on the right it is 1.0. Is this true? Or is it any lung?

  5. U of M visit #2

    Another visit on Thursday Dec 6th. Went in for an MRI, Echo, OB visit, and U/S. They sure lied when they said that the MRI makes beeping noises, more like alarms or fog horns. She was going crazy in there, it must have been too noisy. They said she was doing Vogue poses and that they got really good pictures.

    Next went to a high risk OB appointment, nothing new at all there. More or less to meet the doctors that may deliver me.

    Echo was next. It went really well. ...
