  1. 2/23/12 Yearly appointment with the surgeon

Ethan is doing great. He saw his surgeon yesterday. She did an xray for which he was scared at first, but willingly got it done when he found out he was getting a balloon. The doctor said his diaphragm was still high on the right side and that she thought his lung would have grown more by now. But that it could still grow up until 7 or 8 years old. It looked like his liver may be pushing up on the patch but nothing looked really unusual or out of the ordinary for him. She will see him next ...

  2. Axeal :-D

Wow its been a while since Axels last update. Well he turned 2 in December and is doing great. Hes been talking up a storm. He recently started sing the Wonder Pets theme song. He had such a bad stomach virus that it took him over a week to recover. Except that as soon as he started to act like himself again, he winds you coming down with a cold. Well, the cold actually turned into pink eye and a double ear infection. Which hes ...

  5. So many memories!

Every year since my son's birth, February has been an emotional month. Yes, my son is a survivor and is doing fantastic, but my mind always wanders back to his hospital stay and almost losing him. February was his most trying month, he was on ECMO and had his repair. My emotions are all happy though, just lots of happy tears.

I just wanted to put a post on here about how we have been doing since. Just in case anyone was curious.

Christian just turned 7! We ...
