I went in for a routine ultrasound excited to find out the sex of my baby, but what I was not prepared for was to find out something was wrong. The Doctor said it looked like the baby had a hernia but didn't specify beyond that. We came back 2 weeks later hoping the baby moved to get a better look. I was invited by one of our UK representatives to share my CHERUBS story. Here it is!

As far as pregnancies go, I guess you could say mine was fairly straight forward. Of course I had the odd blip, but nothing major. The worst was a kidney infection that landed me in hospital, but that had no effect on Archie.

Our son Luke was born on Friday, August 24, 2012 by C-section in the 34^th week of wife’s pregnancy due to preclamcia. Hi I am new. My son was born with a right diaphragmatic hernia in 1981. I have always wanted to talk to others about my son and all the problems that have followed him. Even today he is still having issues, medical and neurological. I am not sure this is getting out to anybody. But if it is please write back.
