  1. Day one and two of Matthew's life

    Our precious little grandson, Matthew Marx was born on Thursday, 20/11/2014 at 5:30pm by c-section. The first indication that we had that there was anything wrong with him, was when my son came running up the stairs from the theatre to the waiting room to say that he was battling to breath and had been taken to ICU.
    From thereon began our hours of stressing, waiting and praying.

    I have been a member on here for about 4 years now and honestly I just recently gained regular access to a computer. You will have to bare with me as I am still trying to navigate this site. It only took me 20 minutes to figure out how to post to my blog

    It is coming up on 7 years since we got to meet and had to say good bye to Isabelle. She is still on our minds daily. Every year we take her a gift and the family sits in the car eating Chipotle. I am sure this sounds pretty odd ...

  3. Can't Accept, Nor Can i Grieve

    Well it's been almost two and a half months since I lost my son Nakyler Anthony to CDH .. He was delievered at 5 months because his CDH was life threatening and also my body gave up on him .. i still yet have not accepted it nor grieved about it .. i am upset with myself as if i couldn't save him as he passed away in my arms .. he's been cremated and i have his ashes and yet it still doesn't matter i want my son here .. i ask why him .. i ask many questions that i will never get any answers to ...

    My husband and I find out that I was pregnant last January 22, 2014. Based on my ultrasound, I was 8 weeks pregnant and my due date will be on September 1, 2014. I was so lucky with my pregnancy, I only have few morning sickness. On my second ultrasound I was 18 weeks pregnant. We found out that I have an intramural myoma but they assured me that my baby is safe. During my third trimester, my doctor suggested caesarean section because of my myoma and my baby’s breech position.

    Is there any where in Georgia for adults who were born with CDH for adult care and is there any adults who still have or have had repeated surgeries I am looking for any information I can to better understand my own condition to better help my providers help me thank you for any information you can give
