    Hello everyone!! My name is Wendy. I did join the board a few years ago but then life took over and I never had the chance to get on here so I am back and ready to talk.

  2. Diagnosed with LSCDH

    We went for our 20 week gestation measurements and notified by our OB that our baby had CDH, and would be referred to maternal fetal specialist. On our visit, we learned indeed she had LSCDH and her heart was on the right side. And to get more depressing news was the specialist advised myself, spouse and my mother that there was no research in the U.S., and we would have to have lots of money to travel to Brazil for this type of research.   3. Ethan 10/27/13

    Ethan is doing very well. We just celebrated his
    5th birthday! Wow! Time is going by so fast. Ethan had the croup in August and caught a cold in September. He got sick again in October and missed some days of preschool. We believe he had RSV. The doctor didn't test him but he had a fever, stuffy nose, chest congestion and generally just didn't feel good. Taking lots of naps and all (normally doesn't take naps).   4. Just found out my baby has RCDH......

    I am 32 weeks pregnant with a baby boy (Parker). I found out last week my baby has RCDH. I am scared to death by everything I have read so far. Any words of wisdom or help would be greatly appreciated. Emotionally I am at a loss for words. Just praying every second I have a chance. Thank you.

  5. Risk of Hydrops ; Scared

    As of our ultrasound last week, our visit frequency with that department was changed from semi-monthly to weekly. The reason for this at the time was that the technician noted an increased amount of amniotic fluid; and they decided that at 30 weeks it would be best to keep an eye on it. Simultaneously, they assured us that all findings were positive (including a lung head ratio of 1.8 and steady growth, with an approximate weight of 4lbs).
