Tucker Lee arrived on May 20th at 12:31pm. He weighed in at 8lbs. 5 oz and 20 inches long. He did awesome during delivery & his first night in the NICU. On day 1 they started to wean his oxygen and he was doing well until the evening when he desaturated twice. They had to start over with the weaning of oxygen on day 2 and increased his meds to make him more comfortable and less excited. He did awesome that day and thru the night. Today is day 3 and they are continuing to wean in the hopes of getting him to 60 so they can do surgery to repair his hernia tomorrow. They were able to install a PICC line successfully and keeping him very sleepy.

All in all they are very happy with his progress.

Hoping all continues to go well & we'll have surgery tomorrow!

Tonight we go into the hospital to be induced at midnight and tomorrow we'll get to finally meet our little man! I've think I've officially gone thru every emotion possible over the last 24 hours - scared, sad, excited, anxious, nervous, you name it!

I feel prepared up until the point he comes out, but the unknowns after he is here is what drives me crazy.
Will he cry when he's born? How well will he do? Will he be better or worse than they think? Will I get to hold him at all before going to the NICU? How long after delivery until we get to see him again? How long before surgery? How long before we can hold him? How long until we can try breastfeeding? How will we spend time between the hospital and home?

That's the thing that gets me sad the most, is the time away from Benny. I know he'll be in good hands as well, but it'll be hard for a while. We've done our best to explain to him that his little brother will need to spend some time at the hospital, but I know it'll be hard for him to understand. I can't wait for him to be able to come see his brother, he is so excited and will be such a good big brother.

Thanks to everyone for the support and keep those thoughts and prayers coming!

Ready or not, here he comes!
