 Well I went to get my MRI and ECHO yesterday 12-26 and like amys LHR numbers they did not match up as well. The ultrasound gave us a LHR of 1.6 the first time then 2.0 the second. The MRI gave us a LHR of 1.02.
My doctor kept reassuring me that he is still in good spirits about Drakes outcome. He also said that the liver is down. The only thing up is the stomach a small portion of intestines and some bowl.
My Echo was next. Dr white said that everything was functioning like it should. Drakes right side of his heart is slightly larger than the left. He said he expected to see that in drakes case.He also said they will do another echo when drake is born to check his aorta.
When I got all of this information I just sat and cried because I guess my spirits were so high from my last ultrasound. I felt like how could this be and how could the LHR numbers be so off? Well my husband keeps telling me to focus on the good. He says that the liver being down is the best.
I just want to thank you all for all of your support and prayers. When I first met my specialist he asked if I heard of Cherubs. I told him yes he said that it was a place where i would get the support that I need. Boy was he right.
I will keep you updated.

 [color=red:04170ff491][/color:04170ff491]OK yesterday was really weird. I was fine most of the day. When I got home from running the streets, I sat at the computer and started looking for any news that I hadn,t read yet on cdh. I found this article that said that the lung on the opposite side of the hernia was the one they look at for survival measures. My problem is this: Drakes lung on the same side as his hernia is 1.6 and on the right it is 1.0. Is this true? Or is it any lung?
Im confused! After I read that I just wanted to cry. I occupied myself at my 13 yr olds basketball game in whitch we won 8) Maybe Im reading to much.
Anyone with any advice is welcome.
