hello everyone would just like to say im blessed amairani is off all her meds and dosent seem to have any other problem, we havent been on here for a while now she about 6 going on to 7 months old :) she currently my world lol "Nani" how we call her cuz its much easier is a little DIVA now she loves clothes she knows whats hers and what she wants, nani has begun to sit up all by her self and wants alot of freedom too!! I cant belive that on new years eve i was so scared to have her and now im finally enjoying my baby girl. all nani hads now is her NG tube but its coming out soon dont know when yet she eats solids and hates liquids dosent have no oral aversion at all she puts everything in her mouth which is a good thing to me ppl look at me crazy because i give her anything i can find (of course clean) from her toys to clothes to a wipe ... umm anything really i dont want her to stop her mouth functions if thts what it is .. other then that nani is perfect well she is perfect to me :)

We been home a while now so far amairani has done well!! She has been such a blessing, in my life & people around us. Oral averison(spellcheck) is still hard to overcome mostly liquids is the issue, Gerbers are easy to feed with no problems. Other then that she a normal baby even reaching some milestones faster then expected. I couldnt imagine life without her. I see CDH stories going in right now and makes me realizes Amairanis CDH journey was one of the better ones. There was never a time i was told she wasent going to make it or she had another serious problem, Im so thankful to god that i get a chance to see her grow. I still didnt know the severity of what CDH is and how in a blink of an eye she could of been gone. But now i do. I pray for all CDH babies now and im stricken with sadness when one earns his or her wings. I literally cry.

So far for amairanis help is "healthy " no worries at all from her regular dr. Shes kept her pretty green eyes which in Hispanics is rare :) and shes a ginger as well haha yes reddish/orange hair!! But i love it she still has the best hair so far still is in a moakhawk!! If i get any updates or anything really ill post a new blog

My baby girl has been doing good at home, she is quite picky at what she wants & when she wants it. She is one popular little girl so many visits even thought Ive said no visits LOL. Amairani or how everyone started calling her "Nani" is starting to only want the breast which is fine with me, anything is better then nothing right. Nani so big wearing 6-9 months clothes, when people come & visit her they expect a newborn haha this child is not close to it. Second there amazed how much hair she has & its an auburn/light brown color, with some deep hazel eyes:) she is a gonna be a heartbreaker. We also pierced her ears, she didn't cry but still cries to get her temperature checked!!! Funny right. My sweet baby also loves car rides with music to the black eye peas if I stop or the music stops I'm so hearing it. She however dose not like when men look at her idk if its cuz at the hospital there wernt men around but her nurse Ross(which she would always giggle for him) I just think she notices the difference in a male & female, & thinks this is not Ross :) but on a good note she finally smiled at dad before she would hide in my neck now she actually looked for him to smile at. Well I keep u guys updated if anything happens or any cool new stages she goes thru. So far the company tht checks for development delays has said she ahead of the game & I believe them she sit up before her cousin tht is 12 days older :)

she is going home thursday off oxygen, NG tube, kinda wants a bottle but is still scared of it. shes off all meds, gaining wieght , & is set to go home now but i asked to make a extra trial run just to make sure ;] i have a facebook so add me tons & tons of pics of amairani on it search eli corea or let me know your name if you cant kind me ;]

She set to go home in a few days she has had no.problems but oral abration something like that, just wondering if anyone had any tricks to get her to binky train n start bottle feeding she was intubated for 5 weeks, :( she only takes the binky but once she feels milk she hates it.....

So now tht things have calm down I have more time to wright a little more and explian all tht was done. Amairanis surgery was on monday, at 2pm. Got to hold her before she went in, after two hours she came back super stable didnt need blood or get put back on any medication she had been on before. The surgens let me know she did wonderful, minimal bleeding, they did find she had a "sac" that was not a full hernia, her liver spleen small int. large int. stomach and bwl up in her chest. The "sac" was pushed down and did not need a patch. All her number stayed good through it all, right now she getting weaned from all possible. Shes compleatly off iNo, the breathing machine is down to 35bpm once shes at 20bpm shes getting the tubes out. There weaning her slowly and told me the fastest she can have them out is by 6am. I so want to be there to see them come out =]. Also she got blood 63ml. just to help her more. If i hear any more updates ill sure update again[=

Surgery was done!!! all came out great! :) super happy... shes recovering now! i would like to thank everyone for there prayers!!

Surgery has been put off for two weeks....
she got an bladder infection...
has been put on antibiotics...
Ill just update when surgery does happen:)
because shes doing great they said there no rush to fix her problem...
hopefully soon everything happens with great results ...
Im so home sick:) & just wanna be albe to be a mom to my bby already...:)

Surgery was not done today last night she came down with a fever and lab work was done to see if she has any type of infection, result would be back in 48hrs. another delay but worth it i dont want to send her in at a bad time, i rather her wait and be prepeard for the surgery to come out strong:] I still dont know the next date they have set but ill update once again :]

yesterday was a hard day for amairani...
she needed blood:( something i asked to try to be avoided but she needed it im scared for the risk involved but i said yes i cant imagine anything happening to her and it was cuz of me.
she got about 30ml of blood in a period of 4hrs.
she did well responded very well i wasent sure if she would because during my pregnancy i was allergic to everything under the sun. i prayed she didnt reject the blood and she did well. finally today i got the news she did very good and even helped her pulmonary hypertension:] surgery is still set for monday at 8:30 am. im scared & excited for her she is getting an epidural which i didnt know they would but anything to help her im willing to do. so please pray for my baby girl amairani vianney and wish her well. shes a strong little girl i cant see myself without.

as far as anything new not really just they set the date and signed up for the operating room i belive 2 bbies are getting suregery that day amairani will be number 2 starting at around 12pm its gonna be a long day for all of us.... but its a very important step to take for her recovery.

everything is still going good....
my baby girl=] still has pulmonary hypertension...
but has been put on medication to control and so far has done good on it. she has been weined to 56% O2=] she started at 100%. Surgery got moved to manday the 9th, because she was started on a new medication and want her to be strong for surgery. I finally got to see her open her eyes! which there olive green!=] but the nurses said they would change=[...
