Memorial Day Weekend

Rate this Entry
:D We have had a great Memorial Day weekend. Saturday we went to the cemetary and visited my mother's grave. We took some new flowers. Then we rode around and ate at the Subway. Ethan enjoyed that; he hasn't been in very many restaurants. We were the only ones there for most of the time because we didn't eat until later. Yesterday we cleaned the house and played with Christa and Ethan. Today we grilled hamburgers, played with the kids and watched TV. I'm about to make sure I have my clothes ready for the shorter work week. Ethan is doing great and has been playing a lot. Ethan gets two bolus feeds during the day (at 12pm and 4pm) of 120 mils each. We have been feeding him these with the feeding pump over an hour each time. This weekend we began giving him his feeds via the gravity syringe. We give him 60 mils at the beginning of the hour and 60 mils at the end. We hope to work him up to taking the entire 120 mils at one time. We are going to slowly compress it over the next few weeks. As long as he is tolerating it and not refluxing. So far he is doing great with it. Ethan goes back to the doctor tomorrow to get his ears checked. He is acting happy and seems to feel good. Hopefully the ear infection is gone. That's about it. Hope everyone had a memorable Memorial Day.
