Good Morning, My Precious Liam!

Last night was a very special night! Nonna and Grandpa gave you and Landon your Christmas Eve gifts. You got a beautiful Lion ornament with your precious name and the year. Landon got a "so cool," as he says, green tractor ornament with his "so cool" name and the year. They are perfect! You and Landon have quite the collection of your own ornaments now!

Uncle Skip and Aunt Donna came home from FL to visit everyone for the holidays. They met us at Nonna and Grandpa's house last night and gave us your stocking that Uncle Skip embroidered himself. It is more than Daddy and I could have ever asked for! Uncle Skip and Aunt Donna were able to find a print with a LION on it! Your stocking has Noah's Ark on it, as well as your name beautifully embroidered, and the most perfect saying, "And God remembered Noah and the Little Lion." Momma was overcome with tears of joy- and sadness in missing you so, so much! Daddy made a slideshow of all the photos and videos he had on his phone, so I watched that- that made me cry too! It had photos and videos that I haven't seen in a year or so- the video of the first time your brother crawled to me; watching him toodle around in his walker; listening to his little baby babbling. As precious as those are, they make me miss you even more because I know we won't have the chance to make those same videos of you. Why does life have to be this way? It just isn't fair- nothing is. Your brother is so incredibly proud of you. He calls you, "Baby Liam," but then follows up with, "He's a big kid, Momma!" He knows- just as we all do- that you are larger than life! You are in our hearts, in our minds, and in everything that we see and do- thank God for that! I don't know what I would do without you in my life! I cannot imagine what life was like before I had you and Lan! It must have been so boring- and without purpose. You and Lan are my purpose- my reasons for being! You are the reasons God brought me into this world! It's funny because Momma's friend, Amber and I joke about not having an "identity" anymore. She is now, "Olive's Mom," and I am, "Landon and Liam's Mom." I love hearing people say that! When we were in Boston with you, I'd go to the parent suites to shower and clean up for the day and when I got back to 7 South (the unit you were on), as I walked through the halls, all of the nurses and doctors would say, "There's Liam's Mom!" Nothing makes me more proud than being your Mom! You are Landon make me proud to be who I am- and proud to be alive! Everyone always asked how you were and if you were keeping me on my toes- my response was always the same, "He's gorgeous- and yes! He always keeps me on my toes! He likes to do things his way!" You get that stubborn trait from me! So does Lan!

You are so perfect, Liam! I look at your pictures, clothes, hand and foot prints, and am in awe of the beauty that your Daddy and I created. You and Landon are the perfect blend of your Daddy and I. You, My Little Peanut, are SO your mother's child! Landon is your father re-created! You both are the greatest joys of our lives! Our prides and joys!

I cannot believe that you are already 7 months old! Time really does fly! Why is it that the precious time, the time we treasure goes by too quickly, and the terrible moments, the sad moments linger? That will never make sense to me. At any rate, your birth brought so much into our lives! You are Our Gorgeous Lion- Our Perfect Angel! You are our treasure!

You give me hope, you give me faith, you show me love, you show me that the world really is a beautiful place!

God Bless You, LIAM ANTHONY HUNT! I know that you heard us when we said that we wanted at least a "dusting of snow" on the ground for Chritsmas. It's been snowing through last night into this morning! You are amazing, Liam!
