Merry First Christmas, Liam Anthony Hunt!

Yesterday brought many special moments for our family! Some members of our family gave us very specialgifts in your honor. Nonna and Grandpa gave you your first teddy bear- a Vermont Teddy Bear called the Angel Bear. It suits you perfectly! It sits on your shelf with many of your other precious things. Your Aunt Jackie gave us a sterling silver baby bootie engraved with your name and birthdate. It adorns our Christmas tree with your other ornaments- you have quite a collection now! Mimi and Pop-pop gave me a beautiful pair of white gold earrings with your birthstone, the Emerald. They are so gorgeous and they remind me of you and I, as we share the same birthstone- just one of our many connections, Dear Liam!

Your brother was an absolute blast yesterday! He is so adorable and funny! He made the sad, tough moments a bit easier just by being himself. His presence in our lives makes most everything a bit better. Thank GOD we have him! Thank GOD we have you both! You boys are the greatest gifts Daddy and I could ever ask for! You are the most beautiful and perfect little angels! Daddy and I love you both TO THE MOON AND BACK!

I long to hold you in my arms, Little Liam! My arms feel so empty. I try to tackle your brother and hold him, but he's 2, so he wants nothing to do with that cuddling business! He's my cuddle bug when he's tired or when Daddy punishes him! I guess that will have to do until I join you in Heaven. He's my little bug just the same!

On Friday, Momma's friend Amber brought her baby girl, Olive to our office's holiday party. Amber was so kind and let me hold Olive for quite a long time. I loved her "baby smell," he little noises, and how she wiggled in my arms. I wish that it was you, Liam, but holding Olive really did warm my heart. She brought me such joy! Olive is such a gorgeous little girl! I miss you so much and I would give anything to hold you! ANYTHING! I told Olive that you are her Angel, and that you watch over her and keep her safe. I know that if you were here, you and Olive would be the best of friends and a cute little couple!

I feel a sense of peace and happiness today! I feel like we all jumped through a huge hoop, as a family, in getting through our first holiday. Yesterday was easier than I had anticipated. I am wondering if I'm still in shock. I don't know if the feeling of shock will ever cease. I don't know if that's good or bad. I know one thing is for sure: you knew how much I needed your strength, courage, and love! I feel that you invaded, my body, heart, mind, and soul and guided me through the day. You always know when I need you! I always feel your presence, but yesterday it felt a bit stronger! It is an amazing feeling, Liam! Thank you for that!

I love you, Liam Anthony Hunt! I am so extremely proud of you and so proud that I am your Momma! God has blessed me in such a beautiful way, by giving me you and your big brother! You both are what make my world keep turning! God Bless You, Peanut! I love you TO THE MOON AND BACK!
