It's been a whirlwind of activity here at CHERUBS lately. Our new web site has attracted over 100 new members the past 6 weeks! We welcomed our 2000th member this week. 2000 families and doctors, WOW! I never would've guessed this when I started CHERUBS 12 years ago with just 2 members and a typewriter.

Our Aussie members just had a conference, our Ohio members had a picnic and our Michigan members are about to get-together.

We underwent an audit and a little drama, with our heads held high and our respect intact.

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness jewelry, ribbons and car magnets are on the way!

We signed up 2 new fundraising sites to raise money.

Our Parent Reference Guide is coming out soon and we're putting together a baby book just for CDH parents.

Our Holiday cards contest and Posting contest are underway.

We're recruiting members for a media and research blitz.

We're becoming Incorporated.

We have this new site and we've received so many compliments about it. We're so glad everyone likes it and is enjoying all of our new services. It's wonderful to read the blogs and see all the new photos.

Our newsletter will be out soon.

We have new volunteers and 2 new Board Members. Our volunteers are amazing!!!! They are the ones behind all this hard work that we do!!!

We are planning a Golf Tournament and Angel Ball in North Carolina and have had some corporate donations and volunteers locally helping us out.

We are planning our 2008 CHERUBS International Member Conference.

We have been busy, busy, busy as bees and getting a lot done and I just want to say I am so proud to belong to such a wonderful group of people who are doing so much for CDH Awareness and each other through information and support.

Thank you all for letting me be a part of this wonderful CDH family we have created out of tragedy and trauma.
