Hello my name is heather and I am 23 weeks pregnant at my 19 week ultra sound I found out that my baby girls stomach is in her chest. Being my second child I was devistated I couldn't understand why me why her so many questions. I still have so many questions that even doctors can't answer it is sad that after so much time the research still isn't there. I regently say down with all the surgeons that will car for my baby after her birth they were not very insightful either a lot of people repeating each other I thought. But I found out that it is just her stomach that is in her chest and that her head to lung ratio is 1.81 they said they will do a Mir to see how well her left lung is grown because her hernia is on the left side. Does anyone have a story similar they could share with me to give me some hope because statistics from doctors are just not very cheerful. I just can't understand why it had to be us . I am a good person a Christian and she is not even had the chance to make a mistake yet.

I still remember the day that I found out my baby was being born with the same and that was 14 years ago. I also meet with all her Dr's and given horrible rates and told she more likely wouldn't live and asked me to make fruneal arrangements. Well I had my baby and yes it's scary and nothing with prepare you and it will be rocky but you never know and you have to believe and hand it over to God cause I never gave up and my Sarah is 14 now. I will keep you in prayers when are you due and contact me anytime
