NCMD - Listing our cherubs with wings + calender instruction

For All Members:

Instructions on how to add / fix your cherub's listing on the calendar is below.


For Grieving Members:

On Friday we will change our site for National Children's Memorial Day. We will list all cherubs lost on the homepage until December 14th. The list will come from our database. If you do not see your cherub listed on the calendar (shown on every page of our forums), then they will not be included. You must follow the instructions below to add your cherub. Please make sure that their angelversary is also listed in your profile or the database will not recognize that they have passed away.

Please do not send me a message or an e-mail to include your cherub before the 14th. Or a facebook or myspace note. I really can't keep up, I'm sorry. Using our database on our site is the only way we can do this without mass chaos with a list of 1000 cherubs with wings. We really want to include everyone and not leave anyone out. I would feel horrible if a cherub wasn't listed so please, please take a few minutes to double-check to make sure your cherub is included if you are a grieving parent.

Check the calendar to see if your cherub's listing is correct.

If your cherub's listing looks like it should, then you're ok and you don't need to go any further. :)


Update Your Profile.

1. If your cherub's listing is incorrect, then we need you to update your profile. Click on Profile to do this.

2. It should look similar to this. Please make sure to update your e-mail address if it has changed. Scroll down a bit to the section that lists your name and contact info.

3. Make the appropriate box is checked for Survivor / Non-Survivor / Due

4. Make sure your cherub's birthday is correct. It must be listed as YYYY-MM-DD - if it is not listed in this format, it will not show up on the calendar.

5. Make sure your cherub's angelversary is correct (if applicable). It must be listed as YYYY-MM-DD - if it is not listed in this format, it will not show up on the calendar.

6. Look over your mailing address and make any updates. Please keep us up to date on your address so we don't send mail that will be returned - this costs money we really don't have. And we want to be able to make sure receive information from us. Your address is confidential, we do not give it out to anyone.

7. Look over your phone number and make any updates. Please keep us up to date on your phone number so we can reach you if need be. Your phone number is confidential, we do not give it out to anyone. It is only public if you volunteer for a Representative or On-Call position and give us permission to post it.

8. Make sure to check the box that gives us Publishing Permission. If you do not check the Yes box, your cherub will not be listed on the calendar, in our newsletter, on our site, in our Stories book or our printed calender.

9. Click on the Submit Button.
