Amy, I love all your videos!
In your montage video, I love the line, "most people only dream of angels, we were able to hold one in our arms".
How beautiful!
The video is great. Braden did not receive any blood. I didn't realize CDH babies often required blood products until joining Cherubs. It's still amazes me how different these babies are. Great idea!
If you know anyone that lives in West Michigan could you all email them! I am so sad that our blood drive is not going to be successful. We don't have a whole lot of people signed up! In a church of 1400 people only 3 have signed up! 4 more people from Steve's school and I think thats it so far! :(
The video for the blood drive turned out great Amy!! Ian thought it was pretty neat to see his baby picutre in your video. Ian and I wish you the best of luck for a wonderful blood drive on the 29th and we will be thinking of you and your family that day. I hope it is a big success!!
Have you put an ad in your local paper for the blood drive or spot on the radio? Sometimes, you can get them to donate the space or air time for a good cause. Worth checking into. Making posters and putting them up is also an idea, like in your church or work place. You still have a couple of weeks--praying that more people sign up and give blood. If we lived in Michigan, we would be there for sure!!
I recently contacted a radio station and am waiting to hear back from them. We live near a larger city and they were going to charge us 360$ for one day for Faith's obit, so I doubt that they would be willing to donate space. It's a great idea though. I will look into other radio stations as well.
Amy-the video is beautiful! I hope that more people start signing up for the blood drive and make it a big success! Good luck with it!
Amy if you let other area churches know in time, they put it their bulletins and advertise for you too.
