San Antonio 2009

I met Dawn!!! LOL My husband and I arrived yesterday and had been out today to the Alamo. We walked back into the lobby (all hot and sweaty) and there were two ladies standing there - I knew straight away it was Dawn and Penny. Wasn't sure if they recognised me or not straight away. I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve but I felt really emotional meeting Dawn for the first time after all of these years. It is surreal - only way to describe it.

Penny is exactly how you would imagine her :-) Then Fer came in and she is TINY!!! I saw Karla and her family - I was in the pool and they came out for a look but she was too far away for me to talk to her so she didn't know it was me. I guess a lot of others have arrived or are arriving soon - off to the pizza party in a few minutes. Just thought I would let you all know it has all started :-)

Oh Danielle thank you so much!
For me that couln't go, makes a huge difference and it makes me feel I am there.
