    We did it!! LaneyKate is going public!!

    Well my writing paid off.
    I finally sent in a brief discription of LaneyKate's journey and our local CBS station has contacted us and is wanting to share our story.
    They are also combining it with the grand opening of the Children's Hospital at St. Francis, where LK was treated. We are very excited to share our story and get the current info out there. They are interviewing out ecmo coordinator on mon and plan to come to our house either tues or wed. wish us luck!! i've never been on the tube b4 ahhhh!

    Kara- mom to Aaron (8-30-03) and Adam- LCDH (8-7-06). Gastric Volvulus at 7 months old; Borderline Chiari Malformation; reherniation- bowel blockage and intestional malrotation at 26 months old; Apraxia of Speech - neurological speech disorder; Auditory Processing Disorder; Asthma; and frequent headaches.

    Way to go! I'm always shocked at how little the general public knows about CDH. Here's hoping for a great interview!
