I have never travelled by myself, let alone on a plane to the states so Im kind of worried, but super excited!! Watch me get lost in an airport or something...

Just as an update from my end I heard back from a couple of people, most notably a physician scientist who is currently researching the genes that cause or predispose the development of CDH and he is not only interested in attending the conference, but schedule permitting, willing to speak about his work. Very exciting, I think!

Born at 38 weeks- repair day 12- 2/3 of diaphram missing (in two sections) part of the bowels and liver in chest cavity. Oscillator 8 days- vent 14 days- extubated day 22- 1st full bottle day 28- chest tube for 21 days- Home day 42!!!!
