    If we're talking July, I'm out : (
    Kara- mom to Aaron (8-30-03) and Adam- LCDH (8-7-06). Gastric Volvulus at 7 months old; Borderline Chiari Malformation; reherniation- bowel blockage and intestional malrotation at 26 months old; Apraxia of Speech - neurological speech disorder; Auditory Processing Disorder; Asthma; and frequent headaches.

    I have never travelled by myself, let alone on a plane to the states so Im kind of worried, but super excited!! Watch me get lost in an airport or something...

    Just as an update from my end I heard back from a couple of people, most notably a physician scientist who is currently researching the genes that cause or predispose the development of CDH and he is not only interested in attending the conference, but schedule permitting, willing to speak about his work. Very exciting, I think!

    Wow, Bravo Melissa, I am realy hoping to make it. I am due on March 23rd and depending on Juan Damian, we will be there.

Marilu- mom to Gael 10 years old, Derick 4 years old and my cherub Juan in a Million diagnosed in utero @ 18 weeks with LCDH. Born at 38 weeks- repair day 12- 2/3 of diaphram missing (in two sections) part of the bowels and liver in chest cavity. Oscillator 8 days- vent 14 days- extubated day 22- 1st full bottle day 28- chest tube for 21 days- Home day 42!!!!     I'm so excited for this already...I can't wait!

    It's for sure going to be our summer vacation.

    We have our conference speakers - 3 of them, 3 AMAZING speakers! I'll post names when we have the conference date and location set.

    We currently have July 11 - 26 booked for our east coast vacation. Also just found out that my step sister is expecting a baby the very last of July.
