Thread: Gabriel's Gift Bags

    Corin,
I would also LOVE to help you... Let me know what you need and where to send it.

I love the chap stick! If there is one thing we all did for our children when they were in the hospital it was putting on chap stick for them (sometimes this is all we could do)... it makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

Thank you Kate for bring this up again! It's been going great! I have had quite a few wonderful people sending me blankets, keepsake items, and a few sponsors! THANK YOU ALL!!!! I am really hoping to start sending these out nationally by the end of the summer!!! BUT I definitely need some more help!

Each bag costs about $20 to put together and $7-$10 to send out. We are getting 1-2 new expecting members a week, and I would really like to get them out to EVERY new expecting member we have!

If anyone is interested in sponsoring a bag: for $20 you can sponsor a gift bag in honor/in memory of you cherub. I will include your cherubs story and picture in the bag you sponsored.

If you would like to send items to put in the bags we would appreciate that also! Things we like to include:

Baby blankets-knit, crochet, quilted, etc.... (Please just make sure that they are baby friendly materials)
    Journals
    Pens
    Disposable Cameras
    Tote Bags
    Chapsticks
    mini lotion bottles
    mini hand sanitizers
    children's books
puzzle books (sudoku, word search, etc...)
    Booties
    Caps
    Eye Covers
Gift Cards (McDonalds, Gas Cards, etc...)
    hand/feet molds
    picture frames
    small stuffed animals
Lovies (those little blankets with the heads)
    Birth Record Pillows

We accept anything that could be used by parents in the NICU, any small keepsakes or comfort items!

If anyone is interested please PM me or email me:

Jen- Are you talking about Women and Infants Hospital? We can definitely bring a bag up there. I'm going to give you a call this weekend and we can make some plans
