dress down day for CHERUBS

The school I teach at has dress down days for faculty and staff every other Friday. We love our dress down days! Each dress down day we donate $3-5 to a cause of some sort and in exchange we get to wear jeans. Today the funds went to ALS. So, I put in a request for a CHERUBS dress down day! Imagine 150 + faculty and staff donating $3 each to CHERUBS! I can't wait!

I don't have the date yet as the Assistant Principal has to approve it but I will post when I do!

Does anyone else work at a place that does something like this?

Steve's school is doing the same thing for CHERUBS in March in memory of Faith. I think they put in a certain amount per trimester.

That's great Karla. We had one of our cherubs grandparents do this at their work and the money was donated to CHERUBS Australia in his honour. There are a lot of places do it so I am sure there are plenty of other members on here who could request it of their work places.

Our treasurer (SIL) works for a company that do fundraising in 3 month lots. They sell fundraising chocolates and hold a BBQ. The money raised for that period goes to the chosen charity. They are currently doing it for CHERUBS Australia and I think we will end up with over $1,000.
