Marilu- mom to Gael 10 years old, Derick 4 years old and my cherub Juan in a Million diagnosed in utero @ 18 weeks with LCDH. Born at 38 weeks- repair day 12- 2/3 of diaphram missing (in two sections) part of the bowels and liver in chest cavity. Oscillator 8 days- vent 14 days- extubated day 22- 1st full bottle day 28- chest tube for 21 days- Home day 42!!!! elaine lordan is an actress, her little boy died aged 1 from cdh, she was in a sitcom which is still running called Eastenders, her name as an actress was lynn slater
Liz Dunne- Mum to Clodagh Elizabeth Dunne-Byrne- born 8th march 2007 with right sided Eventration Versus CDH- intensive care for 8 days- put on life support at birth- no operations yet- Repair taking place April 14th 2010. Many problems with reflux persistent gagging- turning blue.Gastrophaguel reflux disease- paralysed diaghragm- Speech delay still awaitin speech therapy. We Love Our Little Angel. Also Mum to Her Brother Darragh James Dunne-Byrne aged 7 - Our handsome Prince and our little king Cathal Born June 22nd 2009 and Mum to baby Charlie- miscarried at 6 weeks gestation on 11th august 2005.

Jaana - mum to Gabriel and his big sister Shaddel Liisa. Diagnosed 19 weeks in utero with LCDH. Polyhydramnios. Surgery day 3 - collagen patch. 8 days vent and 3 days oxygen. 6 days NG Tube.
