    CHERUBS & "The Jammies" working together on ki



    CHERUBS is proud to work with the children's music group, "The Jammies" to collaborate on a children's song and book about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia!!!

    We are tickled beyond belief to be able to work with 2 great guys - one of which has a cherub of his own! A book about CDH on a child's level to help explain things to young siblings and survivors has been needed for so long! We are so excited that there will be a song as well!!!

    We hope to also have them perform at our 2009 CHERUBS CDH Conference in San Antonio, Texas in July!

    We're currently looking for sponsors to cover these projects - please let us know if you are interested in helping us! donations@cherubs-cdh.org

    Too cool!! They are going to do wonderful with the children's song and book about CDH!! I can't wait for it to be completed!! I am doing a happy dance for this one!!!
    Tracy - mom to Ian, LCDH diagnosed at birth, 4/3/04. Ian was born at 36 weeks, spent 53 1/2 days in NICU, 7 days on ECMO, surgery was on day 5, 29 days on a vent, 23 days was an oscillating vent, 546 days on oxygen. Inguinal right and left hernias and undescended left testicle surgeries were done on day 48. Currently has heart related medical issues and exercise induced asthma, but is one happy, happy boy!! Also mom to Cole - 13, Shane - 9, and Toby - 4. CHERUBS Parent Advisory Board Member and Co-Chair, Volunteer Co-Coordinator, and Wyoming State Representative.

    Wonderful!! I am so happy that so many good things are happening at CHERUBS
    Elaine- mom to Kristin 22- LCDH- nissen- ASD- oxygen till 2 1/2- g-tube till 4 1/2- bowel obstruction at 14 yrs old- only one lung. Also mom to Brittany 18- no CDH just 2 mths premie.

    Mom to Brooke-3/22/04- Braden-3/13/08-RCDH diagnosed at birth- treated at CHOP- CDH repair at 1 day old- home on day 12- Orchiopexy for undescended testicle (4/13/09)- Myringotomy with tubes bilateral (ear tube surgery-7/6/10)

    Everything is going so well for CHERUBS!
    Stephanie (Shelby's Mom LCDH 7-10-06)- ECMO 7 days- 2 DH repairs- hital hernia repair- Cliff Lip repair- Nissen and Mickey button. Shelby is eating and drinking by mouth now!!!     I'm so excited! This is great! As CA rep and the Jammies being based in Fresno, Ca. I'm hoping they will be a big part of Cherubs.
