    2012 CDH Awareness Calendars - GET YOUR PHOTOS IN BY NOVEMBER 5th!!!!

    We have 2 calendars that go out each year:

    Faces of CDH Calendar - photos of our cherubs. 1 photo per cherub. We include ALL cherubs (survivors, non-survivors, even those not born yet!). Our 2011 calendar - http://www.cafepress.com/cherubs.493702047

    E-mail your photos to dawn.m.williamson@gmail.com by November 5th with the subject line 2012 Calendars!

    Also, the Save the Cherubs Calendar photos must pertain to a specific month. We are looking for photos:

    January - snow
    February - love, hearts, etc
    March - St. Patrick's
    April - Easter
    May - Mothers / flowers
    June - summer
    July - patriotic
    August - beach
    September - school
    October - Halloween
    November - fall, Thanksgiving
    December - Christmas

    Must be with wings!

    Bumping this thread back up, for I have seen a lot of activity on facebook with interest in the calendars.

    Have you submitted your cherub's photo yet for the 2012 CDH Awareness Cherubs calendar? You can send it to membership@cdhsupport.org or Dawn's email listed above with your cherub's name or post it over at CHERUBS - Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support with your cherub's name (on facebook). Submission deadline is November 10th!!!
    Tracy - mom to Ian, LCDH diagnosed at birth, 4/3/04. Ian was born at 36 weeks, spent 53 1/2 days in NICU, 7 days on ECMO, surgery was on day 5, 29 days on a vent, 23 days was an oscillating vent, 546 days on oxygen. Inguinal right and left hernias and undescended left testicle surgeries were done on day 48. Currently has heart related medical issues and exercise induced asthma, but is one happy, happy boy!! Also mom to Cole - 13, Shane - 9, and Toby - 4. CHERUBS Parent Advisory Board Member and Co-Chair, Volunteer Co-Coordinator, and Wyoming State Representative.

    I know a while back I sent you some pictures of Ericka with wings from the 4th of July. These are the only themed ones we have so far. If you'd like to use those, you can. I can send one to you again, if you want.
    Mommy to a Miracle: Ericka Elizabeth (3.18.2009)-LCDH diagnosed in utero at 29 weeks- Venitlator- Nitric Oxide- Repair surgery at 13 days- Venous Venous ECMO at 16 days- Venous Arterial ECMO at 21 days- came off ECMO at 36 days- off oxygen support at 84 days- G-tube surgery at 78 days- home at 100 days..FINALLY! I'm so proud of her and all the progress we have made! All meds and g-tube DC'd on May 5th- 2010. She's still a skinny minny but she's healthy and happy! She's amazing!

    I would definitely send Dawn an email, dawn.m.williamson@gmail.com and/or membership@cdhsupport.org with those pictures again Tracy, especially if you had sent them in for the contests during the summer for use of them. Put in the subject line and message, Calendar, Ericka Landers, 3.18.2009, so she definitely has them to use for the calendars.

    Deadline for submission is getting close. Please get those photos in! I really don't want anyone upset this year saying they "didn't know" about the calendar and photo submission... please tell all CDH parents you know!

    I ordered my calendars. I am so excited. They are so beautiful.
    Lynn Howard - Mother to Ethan Howard 10/24/08 - RCDH. Born at 31 weeks, repair-17 days old, vent 6 weeks, extubated to cpap, high flow, regular O2. NICU 3 months, G-tube/Fundo at 5 months. Reherniation 14 months: vent 3 weeks, 7 week hospital stay, distonic reaction to medication, oxygen 22 months, reflux and developmental delays, Current: Speech, Occupational and Physical therapies, severe oral aversions; strabismus surgery 3 1/2 years old. Busy, sweet 4 year old.
