    CHERUBS Cookbook - Please submit your recipes!

    Have you contributed to the Cherubs Cookbook yet??

    So simple copy and paste your favorite recipe in an email to cherubscookbook@yahoo.com

    Make sure you say which Cherub you are honoring or in memory of!!

    Tracy - mom to Ian, LCDH diagnosed at birth, 4/3/04. Ian was born at 36 weeks, spent 53 1/2 days in NICU, 7 days on ECMO, surgery was on day 5, 29 days on a vent, 23 days was an oscillating vent, 546 days on oxygen. Inguinal right and left hernias and undescended left testicle surgeries were done on day 48. Currently has heart related medical issues and exercise induced asthma, but is one happy, happy boy!! Also mom to Cole - 13, Shane - 9, and Toby - 4. CHERUBS Parent Advisory Board Member and Co-Chair, Volunteer Co-Coordinator, and Wyoming State Representative.

    Hmmm...trying to decide which recipe I want to submit. Can family members submit recipes, too?
    Mommy to a Miracle: Ericka Elizabeth (3.18.2009)-LCDH diagnosed in utero at 29 weeks- Venitlator- Nitric Oxide- Repair surgery at 13 days- Venous Venous ECMO at 16 days- Venous Arterial ECMO at 21 days- came off ECMO at 36 days- off oxygen support at 84 days- G-tube surgery at 78 days- home at 100 days..FINALLY! I'm so proud of her and all the progress we have made! All meds and g-tube DC'd on May 5th- 2010. She's still a skinny minny but she's healthy and happy! She's amazing!

    Awesome! I really want my grandmother to submit a recipe! She had a stroke a few years ago and can no longer cook for herself but I would love for others to see how great of a cook she was.

    That would be awesome Tracy! Have you had any of the other cherub cookbooks? They are pretty neat...love mine. This time the cookbook is going "out of house-not a volunteer", so I hope it turns out great too!

    Grandmother to cherub angel Jayden, the only son to my born to youngest daughter, Alicia.

    Jayden was diagnosed with CDH at his 17 week ultrasound with severe LCDH, stomach, intestines up as well as having polycystic kidneys. He was born February 19, 2010 at 36 weeks gestation.

    Jayden spent 7 days on ECMO after which he was working on gaining strength for surgery when his polycystic kidneys started failing at about day 15, totally failing by day 19.

    Jayden spent 4 days on dialysis before gaining his wings on March 14, 2010 at age 23 days.

    I haven't heard a deadline yet. I have been told until they have enough recipes to make a good cookbook. I will post a deadline if I hear one.
