On www.charmfactory.com under the awareness ribbons section there are some interesting concepts. I like how for autism they used a standard ribbon but instead of it being a color they put puzzle pieces on it. What about something like sterling silver ribbons that have little cherubs engraved on them or something along that lines. It could be made into a pin or on our jackets or as a charm for a bracelet or necklace.

Be careful with that rainbow beads concept - that's what the Gay Pride groups use. That might really send the wrong message

Looking at their site I kinda like the idea of a silver ribbon too, with a cherub silhouette on the bottom. Or clouds. Or something. I like how the Autism Society did theirs, it's original. We have almost 2000 people here, surely we can come up with something better than a plain ole color. We need something original. If we have a ribbon, it has to be one that catches the eye and makes someone say "I've never seen one like that before! I wonder what organization that's for and what they do".

Speaking of original, been looking at charms and ribbons sites the last half hour or so and can across a ribbon that said "Help, I'm being held captive in a ribbon factory!". LOL, too cute.

I am so happy I found this topic! I hope to get it going again. I make crafts. I have recently been making jewlery. Funny thing is I was looking through my catalog today and found so many cherub charms. I thought, what agreat idea to make these for all of us. If someone could give me some ideas on what they would like, I could order the supplies, make a bracelet, post the picture and get some feedback. I can try and post some pictures of the charms. It is a little on the expensive side, sterling silver, glass beads. It would take me some time to make. Please let me know and I will get started on it as soon as possible!!

Maybe a bracelet that is like acharm bracelet. Like these have the clasps that pull through the circle on the end. There are many affirmation charms (i.e., faith, hope, love, wisdon, mom, ect...) I love these two Cherub charms. Let me know!

I also like the charms you where talking about....faith, hope, love, mom...the only other thing I would like to have would be an S for my cherub Shelby.
I love glass beads-how would you make a bracelet with those and the charms? Can that be done? I have no clue what it intails to make jewerly. But I am so interested.

I have done so much research today! I even found Cherub jewlery boxes! There are ways to add the beads on. I am new to this still. I am meeting with a lady tonight to talk about everything. I have so many ideas running through my head! I'll order the supplies and try to make a couple bracelets. I will try to post some pictures of the charms and what I am looking at doing. Thanks so much for the interest Stephanie! I am really excited to be doing this!
