My son ended up having a Nissen Fundoplication at 13 months. He had severe reflux, and would reflux hours after eating. He was constantly throwing up and not gaining weight. While a Nissen is controversial, several of our drs didn't initially want him having it. However, after his months and months and months of constant gagging, retching, throwing up, etc...they all agreed he needed this. It was one of the best decisions we have made for him. Complete night and day difference. Good luck!
