As I stumbled to the Christmas tree this morning to turn it on, I couldn't help but notice a potato under the tree. I had to step back and chuckle. I knew exactly where it came from - Adam. I am finally over being scared to be on the hospital for Christmas.

Another quick doctor's appointment today. I saw the midwife instead of the doctor and she predicted that it was a boy based on the heart beat... Hmmmm maybe she should have looked at my chart b/c she is definitely a girl :) The last ultrasound left no question as to that. The one thing I don't like about the midwife is she never looks at the chart before seeing me, so she has NO IDEA who I am or my history. Its very frustrating to have to explain everything to her again as if it were my first appointment. ...

My name is Jennifer and I became a CHERUBS member I think it was 2005/2006. My son was diagnosed with CDH when is was 7 months old while on vacation in Southern California. After misdiagnosis as Bronchialitis (sp?) and after almost a week and half of treating him for that, he was finally diagnosed after a second Xray was taken as a CDH. There was nothing in his abdomen. Well I am so happy the holidays are here. I think that this will take my mind off of everything and then when the holidays are over I will only have two months left. So holidays bring on the fun and take away the worry. Well I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a New Year.
