  2. My Cherub's Story

I went in for a routine ultrasound excited to find out the sex of my baby, but what I was not prepared for was to find out something was wrong. The Doctor said it looked like the baby had a hernia but didn't specify beyond that. We came back 2 weeks later hoping the baby moved to get a better look. He did all his measuring and said that we needed to come in his office, at that point I was asking what the sex was. He told me it was a boy but he had a diaphragmatic hernia. 5. In the arms of Jesus, always in my heart

Our son Luke was born on Friday, August 24, 2012 by C-section in the 34th week of wife’s pregnancy due to preclamcia. I heard him cry, and after a few minutes I was able to see him before he was taken to be examined. He grabbed my pinky, and I thought everything was going to be okay. We were not prepared for the news that would change our joy into sadness and sorrow.

Shortly after wife was rolled back into her room, the doctor walked in. I knew by the look on his face something ...
