I got the tote bag and goodies this week. I didnt expect that at all. I was totally suprised. I knew that I hadn't ordered anything and was so overcome with emotion when I opened it up. Thank you for sending it to me. I can't say enough how much I appreciate this website and the way that I have been able to connect through the people here. Its great and its definitely a blessing.
We had an appointment on Tuesday, 9/27 for another ultrasound. They are still amazed that his stomach and other organs is down in his abdomen. They said that that almost never happens with LCDH. So, I am thankful for that news. His abdomen was in the 5th percentile meausuring and now growth is 5.6. So, they say that any percentage of growth is good. I am hoping that it continues. We meet again with the pediatric surgeon on Wednesday, who will go through with us what to expect for surgery. They plan on inducing me between 38 and 39. I feel this little guy moving all around and its becoming so frequent. He is a fiesty little fighter for sure.
One of the coolest things about getting so many ultrasounds is that we become close with the technicians and they do 4d views and pictures of him and we can see him and get prints out of that. He is so adorable and beyond just this defect of having his bowel in his chest he is still perfectly healthy. It is going to be a special time when this baby comes because he has no idea what is in store for him. A friend of mine told me," God must have a very special plan for this little guy, He is going to make it and be proof that God works miracles."
