I first learned about cdh on my first ultrasound I was so excited because I was going to know the sex of my baby but that wasn't all I was going to know we as parents always want a healthy baby but it doesn't always go that way I remember the doctor looking at the screen and telling be I was having a boy I was so excited and being the mother of 3 other boys I figured this was going to be easy I laugh so hard the lady said you gave your baby a hernia I didn't pay her any attention because I was excited I was having a boy and she left out and came back and said your baby has Cdh I was think she was talking about me and when she explained to me I cried I cried I was schedule doctor appt 2a week and the day was set for him to come I was so scared I prayed I wasn't even able to see my baby face because the was inserted asap he was transported and had to go on ecmo two days after he was born everyday I was there and then he stuffed a stroke blood clots hypertension and 28day later he had his surgery and was taken off ecmo he was doing good was tring to whom venterlor and meds and then he caught a infection and I made the decision to put him back on ecmo he stayed on another week fighting hard and was taken off I made the decision to get the tract which would help with his respertory problems and it did and then he ha a blood clot in his neck which made his head swell up he was sent to the cath lab to get them removed and it was successful and now we are doing OK I thank god
