:( I think I heard about another tiger born with cdh. Also heard its common in cats.

Very sad news.....they do find CDH occurs in animals too. :-(
CDH is definitely not limited to humans. I also read somewhere it is most common in cats in the animal kingdom.
The X-ray technician at our family doctor had a cat that had a diaphragmatic hernia. She paid for his surgical repair and he's as healthy as ever now :)

Don't quote me on it, but I read somewhere (which I can't find the article now) that it is as common in cats, but rarely diagnosed.
Well how about that. I never heard of it until Alyssa was diagnosed with it and never thought it would be common in cats. Very interesting.
