Thanks Kate! I really love that picture-I think that was one of the first really romantic moments we have had since Ayla was born and it really was captured on that picture :)

Ok, I am back and am going to look at the photo album.
It was a beautiful place we stayed.
Four Season's ATV resort or something like that. HA HA
We enjoyed it really--but I feel it was just a little to long.
The girls had a blast and that is important.
I am happy to be going home.

We were in West Finley, PA.
Steve (KAte's husband) knew right were it was!!! So finding us was easy.
We enjoyed their visit so very much.

I love the picture of you and Nate also Corin. You look so in love and very happy.

How are you going to do this Corin? Wait until you get ALL the DVD's--then burn copies for everyone on your list?
I am wondering to save you on postage---bring the one's off your list to the Ohio picnic. That saves you time.

Good idea Steph! I think that I probably will bring them to the Ohio picnic for the people who are going to be there. I can't wait to put it all together!

Oh Dawn you need to come, please! I have been bugging the heck out of Penny to get her here.

We saw Brandon's surgeon today (gave him his t-shirt) and he is planning on being there barring any family medical emergencies. He is not even on call that weekend so hopefully it will all work out for him. He asked if he was supposed to wear his t-shirt. I told him he could if he wanted to so I won't be surprised if he shows up in it.

Brandon has gained 11 lbs in a year! BUT he has also gotten a lot taller (need to look up how many inches he has grown) so the weight has basically been cancelled out. He is still 10 %ile for height and 5 %ile for weight. He did say he is slightly falling off his curve for the weight but overall looked good. His right side of his chest is sticking out more (I emailed him the other day about it) but poses no concern right now. Ok that is our little update LOL

I'm working on it, Tara, I really want to be there and hang out with everyone! I didn't get to do much of that at all at the conference so I really want to just come and be one of the girls! lol.

OVERALL looked good--I think that is GREAT!!!!!!

I feel it went well. It is nice to have them now that are short and sweet. Plus I have both the surgeon and his ped's email address and they are great about emailing me back right away. So if I ever feel anything is wrong (like with his chest the other day I sent him a picture LOL) I just email him/them and they get right back to me.

I am not concerned with the weight. The child eats, has actually been eating better the last few days (always on again off again) so that will always be an issue. We opened up the Wii Fit today and he is playing that and his BMI is low and it of course said he is underweight LOL. Hopefully he doesn't lose weight playing this! I haven't started it yet but the yoga and hoola hoop look pretty cool :)

Tara-good to hear that Brandon's appointment went well! I want the Wii-it looks very addicting!

Dawn-how long of a drive is it for you?

LOL Steph. Glad I can keep you positive! The Wii is addicting. I am trying to stay away from it or I would be up all night. I really like Mario Cart racing, you can bump the other cars out of your way. Gotta remember when I really drive that I can't do that LOL. I am anxious to try the Fit Board. It has skiing, yogo, strength training, hoola hoop, and other games. It also keeps track of all your stats (you put in height and weight and it measures your balance). It is really cool.

Well you can count on the Ohio picnic every year. Dawn, is this our 9th or 10th year? I can't wait to see you all again!

LOL, Stephanie. We need to get more Reps to hold events. We really need events in TX and around South Dakota and more in the middle of the states. Really need to follow up on that RV tour around the country idea. LOL.

Corin, it's about 10 to 12 hours drive to Columbus for me - lots of mountains. I think - been a few years since I drove up there. Tara, how long did it take you guys?

Steph, are you home yet for a while? When do the girls go back to school?

The girls go back to school August 15th.

Oh I am soooo asking for a Wii for x-mas.......LOL Hopefully Kev will give in....he didn't last year! darn it! I keep telling him that it would be a great thing for my diabetes! ROFL He is not buying that theory....he says that I will end up dropping my sugar from playing too much! LOL

It took us about 8 hrs to the conference. Hey the mountains are fun LOL Didn't see any cops so I was cruising on the way there. Jeff drove back and I tried to sleep but the boys weren't getting along!

Oh yea Barb, it is much better now that we can go in and get out. I love our surgeon but so glad we only have to go once a year. We were talking about how it used to be three times a week. Big difference.

Ok I just checked somethings out and since Sept 19th he has gained 7 lbs and grew 3 inches. That was when he last saw the ped so I will compare all that when we see her again. I can't find my info yet when we last saw surgeon. Anyway he has grown :)

Dawn, did you get your flower pot? Did the volunteers who you wanted to have one, get one? How did they turn out? Did everyone like them? I hope they were as you expected them to be and everyone who wanted one got one.

I got 7 of them from the hotel room before we left... I haven't given them to them yet - we're having a cookout to thank all the local vendors and volunteers and we'll do it then. I need to know what we want to put in them though!!! Plants? CHERUBS Items? Also, not all the vendors and volunteers are getting pots - so what do we want to do about them? We have no budget so we need to be creative here! They all did so well and we really want them to come back every year as these 2 events will be what pays for our conferences and events when they start making a lot of money. Next year should be awesome - I expect to see a lot of you here in NC for the Angel Ball next fall and the Golf Tourney next spring! :)

I would put Cherubs items in them if you already have the items to save money. I think you had a couple of people in mind to give them to in the thread we were on.

Yeah, the event planners, marketing lady and a couple others who really, really put in a lot of hours and blood and sweat and tears for us.

I know I want to give t-shirts and certificates to each of them, all of them.

What else to go into the flower pots? I don't have a ton of CHERUBS stuff here, just t-shirts and some cookbooks are the only items that I would give the general public like them. We use cafepress now so I'm not storing tons of stuff anymore. Any suggestions? Maybe framed photos from the events? Not all have photos though - the marketing lady didn't attend the events. So I need suggestions. Cheap suggestions as this party and gifts are coming out of my pocket.

The flower pots are thank-yous to the local people who helped with the events. 2 for event planners, 1 for our auction company, 1 for Craig (who doesn't know about them), 1 for the media lady, 1 for the Jr. Women's League leader and I am keeping 1 because I'm greedy and they are so darn cute and I want one so badly!!! LOL We want them to remember the events, what they are for and hopefully this will keep them coming back every year.

I think this had been mentioned before but what about a bottle of wine? Or would that get too expensive?
