    Rice and Gravy-weirdo

Noodles on potatoes?????????????? What type of noodles-I have never heard of that! Are you serious?

OK, I have to admit-I put a lot of sugar or splenda in my coffee. But sweet tea I just can't wrap my brain around.

Noodles on top of potatos is an Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. Ohio is filled with Amish. I am a descendant of the Pennsylvania Dutch.

You cook your egg noodles in a beef broth and then serve them on top of the mashed potatos. Soooooooo good! Everybody snubs there nose at us and says GROSS, but after they have tried it, they never turn back and must eat it like that all the time.

When we cook a pork roast, we always cook sauerkraut and the kraut then goes on top of the mashed potatos. Another fine German tradition.
