Lots of people in Raleigh and Durham are transplants from everywhere else, I'm sure there will be some SC fans!
LOVE all the baskets!!! Shaz, I can't believe you're sending one from Australia, that is so awesome!!! I'm going to have take out a loan to bid on all this stuff. lol.
Silent auction, starts at 7:00, ends at 9:30 (to give people a few hours to check their items out and pay for them, etc). I think it's a bit early but the event planners and auction people say that's the norm. Not sure on the starting bids yet, have to get that straight with the auction guy this week. I don't want to start baskets off on different prices, I think 1 starting bid for all of them (because they are all equally appreciated!) and then the bids can go up from there. But I'm not sure what we're doing.
We did get a Tiger Woods autographed something (I couldn't make out what Craig said on the phone, his cell phone was breaking up) that the radio DJ is going to start bids on on the air next week and carry through to the auction at the golf tournament.

The Best of South Carolina
In the Palmetto State, we wear flip flops, ball caps, and our favorite college tees year round. Clemson and the University of South Carolina may be rivals on the field, but it is every South Carolinian’s dream that their child attend one of these fine universities. Thanks to research that made Baer’s CDH surgical repair possible, he may one day be a Tiger or a Gamecock. Thank you for your donation to CHERUBS. You are helping other children like Baer make it to the collegiate years.

Judi won a trip to Hawaii too!
Steph outbid me on EVERYTHING almost!!!! Wench. LOL. I did win your basket, Kate!!! And I won the Dean Koontz book, but Tara let me know she wasn't happy I outbid her. LOL
Whatever wasn't bought at the Angel Ball went to the Golf Tournament. Wasn't much! Everything donated was bought except for 1 cherub painting - so I bought that too. It's just a teeny bit creepy but the artist is a sweetheart!!!
