Barb,
That afghan is amazing! Any chance you would be willing to share the directions? I think I might like to try and make one myself.
I've been working on quilts for the gift bags. I have finished 5 so far this year. I have another top sewn together waiting to be quilted. I told Corin I'd like to make at least 1 or 2 a month, so I'm on track for now.
Thanks to everyone who has offered their help. I know some of you have been sending things to Corin to include in the bags. I'm so grateful to all of you for your interest.
Christy, I'm so sorry I didn't see your post about your Cherub's angelversary until today. My prayers are with you!
Jeanne take pics of those quilts so we can see! I KINOW they are beautiful!!
I will be happy to share the pattern with you! But I have to warn u.....I do not read patterns and I make it up as I go! LOL I can not read a pattern for ANYTHING!! grr! But I will try to make u some directions that u can understand! These blankets are simple and only take a few hours to make if you know how to crochet.
I want to learn how to crochet just so I can learn to make this!!! It's so beautiful!
Shana ~ Mom to Nyah-Lyn (05-31-2004) and Cherub Landon Matthew (06-20-200 Bilateral Diaphragmatic Eventration. Aww Thanks Shana! I wish that I could teach you! I do not usually crochet as I am so bad at it.......I ammuch better at knitting! LOL
Shana, If you lived closer I would teach you to crochet. I find it very relaxing. There are a number of web sites to help you teach yourself to crochet. I'll do some searching and post a few to get you started. I find crochet easier than knitting. I guess Barb and I must be opposites!!
Barb, I will take pictures of my quilts but I need Corin to post them for me. I'm still on dial-up and have problems getting on the Cherubs site and uploading pictures takes forever.

Wondering what items you are really needing at the moment for the gift bags? I would love to send some.

Jaana-
you are too sweet! Really anything right now, I am trying to build up an "inventory" of sorts to have so that I can make sure when we start sending these out nationally I won't run out! I know it can get very expensive sending things overseas..... hats, booties, and eye covers are some lighter things that I really need.
