Thanks Lise- we are doing good today.
Shane is on his way back from Texas. We have been doing all sorts of things with the girls to make them not think about Grandma Lupe.
We could not go to the funeral becasue of the different environment for Shelby. The girls had a hard time understanding that.
We have been buring a candle for Grandma Lupe everyday and it has helped.
Today is the wake for the little girls that drowned in the flood Tuesday. I will not be going for the simple fact I just cannot handle it. I sent a donation in lieu of flowers, that's is what the family requested.

It will be nice to have Daddy home. He called this morning and you can tell he is emotionally drained. It will do him good to get hugs and kisses from his girls.

That's so hard..I was so close to my grandma. Remember Edith from Archie Bunker? My grandparents were edith and archie. She was a gem ...I loved her so much~spent summers by her.She was the glue...Once she died our family turned intoa really bad jerry Springer show

I think Shane is feeling that his side of the Olivarez family will all go there seperate ways. Like you said-she was the glue like your Grandmother.

Isn't it werid how something so upsetting destroys families and doesn't bring them closer.

I love it that your Grandparents were named Edith and Archie. That's classic.

Thanks! He's Mr. Model and ever since he was a baby, he poses for the camera. Mr. Adam is the total opposite and runs when he sees a camera.
